15th July 2023: Water Watch Penang, in collaboration with Salcon Berhad, conducted the first Training of Trainers program of the year for teachers and educators at Taman Persekutuan Bukit Kiara. The program was attended by a total of 14 teachers and 2 undergraduates from various institutions: SMK (P) Taman Petaling (8 participants), SMK Puteri Titiwangsa (1 participant), Chong Hwa Independent High School (3 participants), SMK (L) Methodist Sentul (1 participant), SMK Seri Titiwangsa (1 participant), and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) (2 participants).

SALCON SMART WATER PROGRAMME FOR SMK BUKIT GADING – 12nd NOVEMBER 2022, TAMAN PERSEKUTUAN BUKIT KIARA, KUALA LUMPUR
The fifth and final Salcon Smart Water Program of the year took place on the 12th November 2022 at Taman Persekutuan Bukit Kiara in collaboration with Salcon Berhad. A total of 40 Form 6 students, and 4 teachers from SMK Bukit Gading attended this river activity.

1 October 2022: The third Salcon Smart Water Programme of the year 2022 in partnership with Water Watch Penang (WWP) was conducted at Bukit Kiara Federal Park. The event was participated by a total of 38 students and five teachers from SMK Convent Sentul alongside with representatives from Salcon Berhad, Mdm. Lee Shee Bee and Mr. Kong Qi Yan.
The intention of this curriculum is to convey rivers and water knowledge on a global, national, and local level, focusing on Selangor to the pupils. SALCON SMART WATER PROGRAMME FOR SMK (L) METHODIST SENTUL – 16 JULY 2022, TAMAN PERSEKUTUAN BUKIT KIARA, KUALA LUMPUR
16 July 2022: A total of 29 students and three teachers from SMK (L) Methodist Sentul were involved in the Salcon Smart Water Programme in collaboration with Water Watch Penang in Taman Persekutuan Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.
This was the second programme of the year under the Salcon partnership with Water Watch Penang for another participating school, targeting to educate students regarding the importance of water and the essential role of rivers as one of the water resources.
Water Genius Challenge Finale – 4th December 2021, Online Zoom
After nearly 2 years of planning, implementation and evaluation of actions taken by students and teachers to promote water conservation, finally the Water Genius Challenge Finale took place on the 4th December 2021 via online zoom. Due to the MCO movement, the WGC has been prolonged with various challenges taking place from 2020 up to December 2021 involving schools from Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by Water Watch Penang and Salcon Berhad, this initiative was supported by the State Education Department of Selangor, International Network for Capacity Development in Sustainable Water Management (Cap-Net) and Malaysia Capacity Development Network MyCDNet.
