16 October 2022: A seminar titled “Your Household Usage and Conservation: What Can You Do? “, was conducted online by Water Watch Penang via invitation by Penang Green Council for AMD. The webinar was attended by a total of 50 attendees consisting of employees from AMD Malaysia.

PGC Exhibition at Kampung Permatang Nibong, Permatang Pauh – 25th September 2022
25th September 2022: Water Watch Penang was invited by Penang Green Council (PGC) and its programme partner, Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai (MBSP), for an exhibition for the community event held at Kampung Permatang Nibong in conjunction with World River Day (every fourth Sunday of September). Audiences primarily locals from Kampung Permatang Nibong, spanning from children to retirees, attended the event.

23 September 2022 – Persatuan Pengamatan Air Pulau Pinang dijemput oleh Penang Green Council untuk memberi ceramah yang bertajuk ‘Penggunaan & Pemuliharaan Air Isi Rumah Anda: Apa yang Boleh Anda Lakukan?’. Program ini disertai oleh seramai 90 orang ibu bapa, waris pelajar serta guru di SK St. Mark Butterworth.

23 September 2022 – A talk entitled ” Your Household Usage and Conservation: What Can You Do?” was presented by Water Watch Penang at the invitation of the Penang Green Council. Ninety people, including parents, students’ relatives, and staff from SK St. Mark Butterworth, attended the event.
Continue readingRAINWATER HARVESTING AS A SUPPLEMENTARY WATER SOURCE TALK AT SENTRAL COLLEGE, PENANG – 22 JULY 2022
22 July 2022: As Water Watch Penang (WWP) has prior experience in promoting Rainwater Harvesting technology and its development, Penang Green Council (PGC) invited WWP to give an educational talk about the installation of a Rainwater Harvesting system as a supplementary water resource in tandem with Green Innovation Competition organized at Sentral College, Penang.
More than 40 students and lecturers from Sentral College participated in the talk, including the Principal, Dr. Chiang Geok Lian, and the Project Officer from PGC, who invited WWP for the talk, Mr. Ahmad Uzeir Ahmad Murshid. In addition, Yang Berhormat (YB) Phee Boon Poh attended the event as a special guest. Dr. Hong Chern Wern, the Executive Manager of WWP, gave a talk that exposed the participants to the benefits of Rainwater Harvesting, along with his intern, Mr. Hanson Yeoh.
