Introductory Course on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) – 13 to 15 June 2022 – School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

A total of 12 participants from Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP), Jabatan Pengaliran dan Saliran (JPS-PERLIS), Lembaga Sumber Air Negeri Kedah, Lembaga Urus Air Selangor, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam, and WWF-Malaysia participated in the training course programme Introduction to Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for three days starting from June 13 to 15 June 2022.

The programme aims to provide information sharing on the water in Malaysia in collaboration with the Water Watch Penang (WWP), UNESCO CPI, and supported by the Global Environment Center (GEC) and the School of Humanities, USM.

‘NEGALITRES FOR SCHOOLS’ River and Water Education Programme at SK Convent Pulau Tikus – 16 June 2022.

16 June 2022: ‘Negalitres for Schools’ has been successfully held by Water Watch Penang where this educational programme has been conducted face-to-face for primary school students at SK Convent Pulau Tikus, Pulau Pinang.

The programme was attended by a total 156 students from year 4, 5 & 6 and teachers took turns to be at the assembly hall. This programme was revealed about water education by the facilitator, Dr Hong Chern Wern, from Water Watch Penang and assisted by comm intern, Nursyazana.

‘NEGALITRES FOR SCHOOLS’ River and Water Education Programme at SK Seri Bayu – 1 June 2022.

1 June 2022: ‘Negalitres for Schools’ has been successfully held by Water Watch Penang where this educational programme has been conducted face-to-face for primary school students from SK Seri Bayu, Teluk Kumbar.

The programme was attended by a total of more than 350 hundred students from Standard 4 to Standard 6 during the Sesi Ko-Kurikulum, facilitated by Dr Hong Chern Wern, from Water Watch Penang and assisted by Communications intern, Nursyazana.

‘NEGALITRES FOR SCHOOLS’ River and Water Education Programme at SJK Kheng Tean – 30 May 2022.

30 May 2022: Water Watch Penang has conducted face-to-face educational programme for primary school students in Penang at SJK Kheng Tean.

The programme was attended by a total of more than fifty participants and three teachers, and the facilitator involved in giving a talk was Dr Hong Chern Wern, Executive Manager at Water Watch Penang. This programme was also assissted by Comm intern, Nursyazana.
