The session, conducted on 14 April 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, engaged a total of nine staff members who showcased commendable dedication to water conservation efforts.

The Aquasave Awareness Education Programme is a complimentary lecture series offered by Water Watch Penang, in collaboration with the Penang Green Council (PGC) and the Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP).. The programme was launched in 2009, this initiative is part of PBAPP’s collaboration with the Penang State Government to recognize organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to water-saving practices.
The primary objective of the session was to enhance awareness and understanding among corporate professionals regarding water conservation, while equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to adopt water-efficient practices throughout their operations. Furthermore, the presentation served to assist participants in aligning their efforts with certification requirements based on established criteria.
The event commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Rebecca Chin, Assistant Manager at Water Watch Penang, who introduced the organization’s mission and vision, placing its initiatives within the broader context of global water management challenges. Ms. Chin proceeded to deliver a detailed presentation on water audit methodologies, outlining key components including implementation strategies and methods to reduce water usage in office, industrial, and residential environments. Practical recommendations were shared to support organizations in improving their water efficiency performance and achieving long-term sustainability goals.
