Tsurumi River Information Centre (TRIC)
Tsurumi River Information Centre (TRIC) is run by an NGO and provides education and awareness raising on anything and everything related to this river. The TRIC has a Visitor Centre, an Aquarium that has all the aquatic life forms of the river, interactive games for children, maps of the river basin, videos made on the river that visitors can view, books on the river in a library within the centre, computer learning games about the river, life crabs and lobster from the river for children to pat, etc.
We hope the Penang State Government will set up a ‘Sg Pinang River Education Centre’ to be run by Water Watch Penang.
