14 March 2025 – Thank you to NRS Process Systems Sdn. Bhd. for their enthusiastic participation in the Aquasave Awareness Education Programme. The 90-minute session, held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, engaged 10 staff members who demonstrated strong commitment to water conservation initiatives.

The Aqua Save Awareness Education Programme is a free lecture provided by Water Watch Penang in partnership with the Penang Green Council (PGC) and the Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) for firms and industries that have registered for the Penang Green Office Accreditation. The scheme began in 2009, is a PBAPP effort in partnership with the Penang State Government to acknowledge industries and organisations that are devoted to water conservation measures.
The primary goal of this presentation was to enhance corporate professionals’ understanding of water conservation and empower them to implement water-smart practices throughout their operations. Additionally, the session provided guidance to help personnel meet certification requirements based on established criteria.
Executive Manager Dr. Hong opened the event by introducing Water Watch Penang’s mission and vision, contextualizing the organization’s work within the global water management crisis. Dr. Hong then delivered a comprehensive overview of water audit methodologies, detailing key components such as implementation techniques and strategies to reduce water consumption across workplaces, offices, and residential settings. The presentation offered practical approaches for organizations seeking to improve their water efficiency metrics while supporting broader sustainability objectives.
