26th November 2022 – The final event of Water Water Watch Penang for the year 2022, 2nd Escape Rooms: Water And Environmental Quiz has taken successfully with the participation of a total of fourteen teams from a total of ten schools in Penang.
Previously conducted virtually, this year’s quiz was conducted in a face-to-face manner hosted at Han Chiang High School.
The main objective of this quiz was to instill environmental knowledge via the gamification method as well as provide a ‘fun learning‘ platform for students. Participants were tested on challenging questions ranging from calculations on water consumption, water, and environmental issues, to various environmental general knowledge and sustainable development goals.
Participants aged between 10 years old and 15 years old took part in this highly competitive event that consist of two preliminary rounds and the final round. The top 3 teams from each preliminary round then proceeded to the final round.
Ms. Sangheeta, the representative from PBAPP which is also the sponsor of this event, also attended and witnessed this quiz for the first time. The top three winners were presented with cash prizes while other students will be presented with e-certificate of participation.

First Runner-up: ‘Water Hero’ – Han Chiang High School
Second Runner-up: ‘Water Warrior’ – Han Chiang High School
