WWP-USM-PBA River & Water Education Project, 8 August 2009

A total of 40 USM students will be taken to the Penang Botanic Gardens to learn about various ways to monitor the quality of the Sg Air Terjun via physical, chemical and biological indicators. The group would do a river clean-up. The students would then visit the PBA's Waterfall Water Treatment Plant, Malaysia's oldest treatment plant. The group would also be taken around the water catchment area to learn about the functions and importance of catchments.
