SMJK Phor Tay & SMK Batu Kawan River Programme was conducted by WWP on 22nd March 2008. A total of 60 students and 4 teachers from these two schools took part in a river water monitoring (physical, chemical and biological) water treatment process programme at the Sg Air Terjun (a tributary of Sg Pinang) inside the Penang Botanic Gardens. The group was also taken on a study visit of the PBAPP Sdn Bhd Waterfall Treatment Plant located inside the gardens.
